ive been trying to find a pic of the space for a fuel tank,i cant but its loads bigger than a standard cossy tank

yes thats how mine was done. and that was the easy bit
the rear end is the hard part. brom at zoo makes some nice cos adjustable rear suspension.with a few plates welded in it should be easy to fit a cos rear suspension

if you put the cos rear beam under your escort, you will find that none of the mounting points are near the chassis,i cut out the sierra rear chassis and overlayed it onto the escort,then plated all the gaps.i used 2mm steel plate at the cosworth mounting points.i have some pics but they are too blurred to post.

what shocks are you fitting? coilovers or springs?when are you going to fit the rear chassis? as there are loads of problems.i can save you lots of work
my car will be at central day at the pod in april,i can then explain what you will need to do

oh nearly forgot,you will also have to alter the rear inner sill to get clerance for the rear beam
