Fiesta MK4 Auto to manual
Hi everyone
First post for me as i'm seeking some advice.
Currently I buy knackered old cars, do them up and sell them on (hopefully for a profit), but just after some clarification
The MK4 fiesta is only a 1.25 zetec and the engine it originally come with was knackered. I've managed to pick up another engine which had a full rebuild 40,000 miles ago (receipts to prove it) but has an auto box.
Now I know I will have to swap the fly wheel over since i'm using the manual box on the new lump, but I've also been told i will be requiring a new end bearing for the crankshaft. I was wondering if anyone can clarify that and what the part is actually called as i'm only really aware of the clutch release bearing and i'm pretty sure that's not it

It's called a spigot bearing, check first as there may already be one in there, if the rebuilt engine used a manual one to start with!!
If not easy to do, just tap in the nose of the crank, then as you say flywheel, clutch etc.
