Default Little Known yet Powerfull Features of PassionFord...

During a recent topic about Passionford getting busier and harder to use due to the amount of time it takes to lose a new post to page 2, it became aparent that many of our most powerfull features arent being utilised by most members at all

Let me outline a few, in case you didnt know they existed:

On teh index page: ( https://passionford.com/forum/index.php )
You will find these:

You will see there are:
1) View the posts since your last visit
2) View your own posts
3) View only the unanswered posts
4) View only recent topics

All pretty self explanatory folks, and very powerfull when we are busy and shifting a page in 17mins so go and enjoy em.

It was also suggested we could put a link to teh different forums in GD so you dont have to navigate the forums via the index page, well, we already have one on every page, its here look:

Someone asked for a "FAQ" section for general how to use a forum information, and again, we already have this:

We were asked for a topic explaining how to use Photobucket to upload siggys, and again, we have one here:https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19611

There are a few other similar topics to teh aboive in our FAQ furum here:

Any suggestions of more posts to put in FAQ forum , feel free to give me the links and if their suitable i will move them

I hope this topic helps you to enjoy your time on PassionFord more as we are getting busier by the day, now processing 30+new members every 24 hours

Amazing the things you never notice.
Most of those above, I've thought would be a good idea....
....and fook me, they already exist
Oh, and typing here at home on dial-up, the pic resizing thingummy has certainly speeded things up

I don't know if this has been suggested but how about only displaying peoples signatures once per page? Might speed up the server a bit and would make long pages of 1 line replys a lot easier to read.

Keep up the good work,

That is a good idea - Maybe a user defined option !!!

Or to be able to turn off sigs altogether - again user defined in profile.
