Is it worth setting up the cams with dial gauge on std cams,ie are the standard marks near enough,tdc and all that.running the msd 380 chip if this makes any difference.Have spoken to a few chaps and said that slightly advancing the inlet cam can give you more power.The comp ratio is 7.5.1,with valve cutouts.

 

No point on your spec, with BD 14/15's etc then useful, but assume(as not said different) that you have std cams, bit odd with lower CR, unless going a bit more mental turbo boost wise later.
If did gain by advancing you would very likely lose elsewhere.

thanks for reply,reason for lower compression,i was told by grove less likley to detonate,running t34 turbo also,

 

If it is mapped correctly it won't det with anything a T34 with decent i/cooler can throw at it on std CR, I'm on T34 and just upped the CR, was aiming for 8.5, but not measured yet, helps massively with off boost driving.
