Hi there, a few month ago I was trying to build a 3 door Cossie replica from a XR4 but i had to sell the car due moving out from my parents house, now I want to but a mk4 escort xr3 or a mk3 fiesta and put a 2L zetec engine or duratec engine, these engines are not expensive and you can find them easy, my question is the next, around here we have 1.3 fiestas or 1.8 escorts, rs models do not exist here , so if i choose a zetec or duratec engine for any of those cars, whats with the gearbox, or engine mounts? can I use the stock inlet manifold? (zvh's does not exist around here either ) thank a lot for your time and good will, cheers

if your putting a zetec in the mk4 escort i believe they fit in altho you have to alter the engine mount, as for the gearbox i think its best to use the rs turbo as its lsd im sure some one will correct me if im wrong tho
