Default Kill Switch Behind Bumper **Now with Photos**

What does the kill switch behind the bumper turn off, (I take it is a kill switch looks like a push button mounted just behind the bumper)
Does it kill the fuel?
Cheers Rich

Does it have a pivot bar that pushes down and is nearer the right hand side or centre of the car, if so I am certain thats the temp sender for the graphic display.

3DR dosen't have one at all, 2WD yes, I think 4x4 has them inside the car, certainly not at the front of the car.

Soz about the poor quality taken with my iPhone
Here's a close up even has a Ford Stamp and it's wired into the main car loom along with the lights:

Its mounted just to the right hand side of the fog light grill (if your looking at the car from the front) You can't really make it out in the photo:

afraid I can't help, but it reminds me of at work there's a doorbell on a counter so you can call someone over, someone remade the sign so it read, 'press here to blow up the world'

No one ever pressed it again

If its a sensor why does the button depress?

Thats because it's not a switch, it's a sensor the bit you see on it which depresses is a thermistor, I guess the question was in aid of a problem with it not starting?

Easy way to tell is write down part number and see what ford call it, can't see that being the frost warning, any thermistor would need better ambient than inside that device would give, and certainly wouldn't have or need a press button on it.
Wire colour would give a clue though.
