Default has anyone fitted an external swirl pot to a standard tank?

Hi all

i dontpost on here much, but am after a bit of advice please

I have a RS2000 mk 6 with Throttle bodies, which i noticed was suffering from fuel cut/surge on track

the car has a walbro itp pump, feeding a Fse/Sytec motorsport filter to the fuel rail which has an adjustable FSE/Sytec pressure reg, the car is fine above 1/2 tank.

I wondered if anyone had fitted an external swirl pot using the standard tank and which set up they had used, e.g 1 litre tank Red top pump and then cosworth fuel pump, as all the set ups i can find are using racing tanks and the price is too much for a track car.

Thanks

Ray

Not seen it done but no reason it wouldn't work if plumbed right.

me neither, i was hoping someone had already done it to save me some of the uncertainty and trail and error

apparantly Rover single point pumps are a low pressure replacement for Ford in tank pumps, so i will look into it.

hopefully someone will enlighten me with their set up
