Default 2010 Focus RS Dump Valve

I've had my RS now for two months and was thinking of fitting a dump valve, has anyone already fitted one and have instructions just so as I know what's involved before I order the parts. PS whats the best supplier to get this from??? thanks

Probably best to leave it standard, check if it will affect your warranty in any way.

Default Focus RS Dump Valve

Yeah, thats what I was worried about, it looks like the only thing I can do to upgrade anything and avoid warranty issues is the Mountune MP350 !!!!!

Thanks for advice

No worries, I think you'll probably get annoyed with the noise, im planning on taking mine off my Escos. I really like the new Focus RS's I want one in white when they get a bit cheaper.

The white looks nice, that was the colour I was going to go for, they had it next to the green but looking at them next to each other I went for the green !!!

why oh why would you want to put a dump valve on a new RS heck on any car it sounds silly and just draws attention to you. Now the mountune upgrade sounds like a plan
However if you didnt care about your waranty then BBR do a 404bhp upgrade.

Put an open cone filter on it. I've got the dreamscience set up on my ST and the chatter it makes is a million times better than a dump valve! Makes a bit more power too

Thanks mate, looks quite a bit different to the pic in my sig now! It came from Dreamscience, I know they have a new development RS now so expect a kit very soon if there isn't one already! They say anything up to 20bhp, so not bad just for a filter!

I found one, twigged after sending email that Dreamscience was the companies website DURR!!! being a bit thick, they have one (Focus RS mk2 K&N air filter) presume this one is ok? £50.00 might give it a go 20bhp is quite a bit for just changing the filter.

That's just the panel filter, the one I've got was £365 (don't tell the mrs)!!

I see there isn't one yet listed for the RS though!

Ah! that explains it then, thought it was a bit strange by just fitting a simple £50 filter it would increase bhp by 20, thanks for the advice glad I haven't purchased it yet, maybe I'll just stick to the mountune upgrade when I can afford it !!! that way at least I don't effect the warranty.
