hey guys here come again to show and tell after 6 month of blood and tears I am almost done with my girls car It has been a peinfull road but its a ford at the end of the day I would take it any day so this is how it began.....

THATS ON THE FIRST DAY OF PURCHASE Nothinghas been done to it so far

Second week remember that its an after wor thing

I had borrow the wheels from my old fez and end up living them on the ka
WEEK 3 WORKS BEEGINGS

1. Boot delocked and dewipered

2.delocked front doors

3. Not interior as its being retrimed at home by me on leathertte color ...

WEEK 4

sanding a preparation strats for paint

1. sealant goes on


2. 2 coats of high build primer goes on


WEEK 5

The first coat of the final color goes on and people didnt like but i loved it

After that step my girls decide to go the 2 colors ways and this is what happened

WEEK 6

I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT FROM THIS WEEK ONWARD i LOST TRACK OF TIME BUT THE WORK DID CARRY ON WEEK BY WEEK
And after some web surfing we found this...

The paint isstill diamod white with a twist
In the midtime the bonnet roof body kit started to get what was gonna be the final color scheme for it


This is how it would look kinda.....?!


So i decided to get on with it even tho people still didnt like the white or the pink REMEMBER ITS A GIRL CAR





But them disaster strikes almost at the end of this race....



Paint in the front bumper react for some odd reason (f***ing dogs around a paint booth)
but the fear didnt take over it was finaly all solved



and it finaly looked like this



Now I had to wait.....
And 7 day after that terrible pain with the pink paint FINALY the final stage of the paint job could begin never too late parking fees were eating me and back to the booth to come out loocking like this...





The drive home for a guy in LONDON on a very very loud and very very very pink KA no a very pretty picture tho DONT YOU EVER DO IT..........

few days ago my girl surfing the unavoidable WEB (EBAY) she came across this...



But not everything was bad she also got.....



thats all I can show for now 3 day off and I got to go and work on it fast I can belive I missed the ford fair this year... So now Im being pushed to finish for any other event More pics of the interior and sound system will be come soom hoping to be some today...


BUT PEOPLE TELL ME WHAT DO YOU THINK???

thanks for the coments so far dashboard now done and fitted release boot button worked out wired up so it wont pop open while driving hadr to do it on my own cuz no one could help me with the wiring diagarm now working on central locking loom have to work it out from scrach tho again no diagram and locking module from fiesta MK4 ..... let you all know how it comes out

 

stick a zetec i it and it'll be wild
not my idea of a tidy looking car, but horses for courses,
decent job anyhow mate

 

if the zetec doesnt give me too much trouble fitting plus turbo (space wise tho) the hell yes missus is a heavy footed girl so the 1,3 doesnt really cut it for her soon will be posting on my xr4x4 KA is being a pain but is coming alone all custom (shame I had to widen the wheel base by 20") but thats another topic

Each to their own and fair play for the work you've put in but if my bird had a car like that i'd walk

 

iv gotta say, it either needs to be all pink, or more of the white doing away with the bonnet n tailgate n roof pink, cos as it stands it just looks like its half done or something

i figured constructive criticism might be a bit better than merely saying its fookin horrid, regardless of whether thats exactly what im thinking or not

 

Fair play to you, have clearly put a lot of hard work into that, but is it worth it on an R reg Ka? How long till its gone to the scrappy due to rot.

Pink cars just look plain daft to me, there's a pink Puma and a Pink Mini in my area, both clearly aftermarket paint jobs and just looks like a Barbi doll motor.
