Ducked out last night to the pub and ran in to an old mate who'd driven down from Scotland for his brothers wedding. He broke down halfway and teh AA man told him the cambelt had gone and it was going to cost £1k to repair so he was going to scrap it. I swooped in and now I own.

Reminds me of when I walked out of a pub once, some kid on a bike comes up to me and says, 'do you want to buy this bike?', i said I'll give you a tenner for it (it was half hour walk home), he said 'no, give me a fiver and you can take it'
