Default problems with my s1

hi folks can someone help me with my c reg rs turbo s1
when cornering mainly right (on an island)
the car cuts out .
when i strighten out again it runs ok again
it as a new fuel tank fitted complete with swirl pot
what else could it be
fuel accumlator ????

either a cheap tank of ebay with small swirl pot

does the oil light come on ?

Check your fuel pump wiring first, then check it all under the bonnet. Have the car running and try emulating what the wiring wold do under cornering.

my mates s2 used to do something similar when it was low on fuel
so i'd thy looking down that route to start

Check all earth cables incase loose,noticed with escorts after half tank theyv got their own minds,other thing u can do put a cylinder electric fuel pump and a switch on dash ignition live their about Ł68+postage and wiring switch and connectors,also if u clean out ur swirl pot and the small filter in ur fuelpump it might help give it a try b4 u start spending.

its probably a shit tank had loads of trouble with them in the past doing the same thing!!

think it as the fuel tank
it says made in japan on the top of the tank we all no that ant right
fookin jap crap.
i have located an s2 tank now
so will be fitting it the weekend
let you all o how i get on !
