would you?
right after 2 1/2 years owning my focus RS, i'm starting to get the itch for change.
i love the car and i'm looking for some advice on whether to mod it more.
bear in mind it has done 110k now (90k motorway) would you change it. this is my only car so will still be a daily driver. (though i am consdering the idea of making it a track car).
its currently Bluefin, forge re-circ, de-cat, exhaust and a forge uprated actautor
i am looking into upgrading the intercooler, to pro-alloy or Spec-r (needs more thought). getting a new manifold, been looking at the primary designs one, but trying to decide whether its worth the extra cost for inconel, and upgrading to a hybrid or a GT28.
after ford fair, i have got the bug again, but unsure whether to spend a few G's on the focus RS, or put the money aside for something else.....havent had an escort cossie yet!

spend the money on it mate ,i love them mate has one great cars
you did mention daily drive,so that will dictate what you end up with, unless you buy a motor for the daily commute and keep a beast for the w/ends,your rs has served you well,do you think a cossy would do all that, week in week out?........
If it were me I'd keep it, mod it anduse it as more of a weekend toy, then buy something cheap and cheerful for the daily drive!
It will feel more special then, rather than driving it all day every day, it'll just feel to you like just another car. Come friday afternoon you'll be itching to get it out the garage!

I’m just wondering if I should plough in the money or just save it and enjoy it how it is now (around 270bhp). I’m not sure what sort of drive it will be like with new cooler, manifold and turbo.
It is a great car, and people comment on how well it goes, and the condition, in an ideal world, I’d like a full repaint, wheel refurb and the above mods, but all in good time!
yeah i used to get really paranoid about leaving my saff anywhere, i'm not so much with the focus, its a lot less conspicuous, aside from the wide arches and 18's and usually cos its filthy!!

it is running direct, as for going for Tuna, i am a little confused as to where it was created/mapped etc. and what the main difference with the bluefin is? (its all very secret squirrel).
did the PD make a difference as i feel thats the next step on mine, just trying to decide whether to spend 700 on a stainless mani of £1k on an inconel one
i think my chargecooler pump may have died, so i was thinking i'd use the money for a new pump against an air-air setup, they are much better at higher boost levels.

go air to air of you track it,but normal road driving with the odd blast the cc will do,i dont get temps above 30 blasting about, not really seen as high.
i bought my car with tuna and the pd already done so cant compare.but the pd is one of the best manifolds for the frs, loads of folk have changed from bluefin to tuna and its all positive feedback.it also changes the ford map from af to ae,ae is the one you want as af causes a cough at 4.5k rom
