big knocking noise
Definately coming from the engine? I had a loud knocking coming from my old mk3 mondeo and it was the aux drivebelt tensioner knackered. If not then I guess you need to start looking for another engine/rebuild!

wot if the bottom end is gone i will need a new engin had an amazing day at ff aswell just 5miles from home bad knocking started sounds like sum nuts are being tossed around in the bottom of engin any idears
