Just got a 55 plate mondingo St220 thats had a brand new set of diamond cut alloys.

Is there anything you can put on them to prevent them corroding???

Vasoline works, just keep cleaning them aswell.

 

My friend and many others had theres painted silver. Doesn't look as good but is a lot easier.

Shame ford get some lovely alloys but dont care about the lastivity of them.

The condition some of the Mrk3 ghia x rims and zetec s rims were in when i had my valeting business was really piss poor and thats alloys that didnt look kerbed etc etc

 

I looked for ages to find a new set of wheels for the mondeo but they were all to chavvy i thought.....the only ones were these....like you say, they look similar to the OE ST220 rims but slightly different, enough to change the look a little

 

Yep i looked and looked when i had my mrk3 ghia x but apart from 220, zetec s rims rims at the time there was nothing i could find that suited it but that was just another car that lasted me 3-4 months and i wanted something else , and then you realise you miss the comfort etc when you get older lol

 

EXACTLY.....Mine is a Ghia X with ALL the toys and the Zetec kit....so looks ok aswell......

Goes ok for a Decatted Diesel, superb on fuel, looks well, really comfy with all the toys....what more do you want....lol
