The problem with using the full version in safari on the iphone is potentially that the page has a LOT of tracking code and adverts etc attached to it, which makes it very slow to load on a limited speed connection.
It still works of course, just a bit on the slow side.
If they use tapatalk etc then it would be a lot quicker, but they then wouldnt have all their tracking code and adverts, and obviously they want to force all that shite down our throats cause it makes them money to do so.
Just read up on it, and it looks similar to Echofon (twitter client). Gives you updates from subscribed threads in a way that is clear and managable. Using PF on the iPhone is pretty rubbish imo, not sure about other phones.
Didnt have a problem on the iphone that i know of.
My N86 can only view the site in mobile view though, due to the site not the actual phone, they should make it so that its permenantly full version like a pc, a mobile version was only needed about 5 years ago

I'm still confused.....
To be fair I don't have any issues browsing the web on me iphone.
PassionFord only becomes slow when I'm on a non 3G connection, so I don't bother. It is slower than every other site i use, but have no problems browsing on the IPhone.
I used the twitter app and joined PassionFord on their which seems to upload every thread posted, so I've stopped following it due to too much crap
Surely that's more about your connection speed rather than a fault with the phone?
But if you were on tapatalk it would be quicker on a slow connection than it is on a fast one now.
As per you, I find it bearable on the iPhone, but it would certainly be better without all the adds and spyware massively increasing every page's footprint.
