I still have an brand new oil filter from when I had my mondeo, it says fomoco EFL600 on it. Can this be used on my st170? What is the difference between the proper one and this one? or are they the same?

It fits also focus between 98-2005, as well as 14 other ford models, not just zetec engines either, so go ahead and use, if you are still unsure just check with ford, part number could be different on screen but filter will come back as EFL600.
