Put a short vid up of the first outing for this year of the RS500, finally got the chance to take the love of my life out in the love of my life!

Does anyone know how I can find out the gearbox ratios that are in the Gartrac box that was fitted to these group A RS500s? or who might know?

I have found about 4 ex race cars for sale now and they are all major money these days so you have a sound investment there as well. Bought myself a road car instead, but watching your vid its got me yearning for a racer again now

i was at oulton park this day, in a red saxo, and this car was stunning! sounded amazing, looked amazing and looked very very fast!!! was great to see it!

 

I had a good nosey around on the day. Very impressive.

Thanx for the comments, sorry I have not answered any of the questions, busy busy. However the nice chap from FastFord mag (Dan) has invited me to Ford Fair at Silverstone, so after a bit of diary juggling and the promise of some track time................

Hows about a passenger ride mate? The car seemed a lot better suited to donno than oulton judging by the vids.

What watching the vids again I'm surprised how easy it looks to drive the car. I've seen a lot of video's of 3dr Cosworths and RS500's on track and lots of them are sliding all around the place. But this looks like it's on railtracks

Lovely bit of RS History there, love the fact your not afraid to go out and use it.

Sadly I can't make Ford Fair this year but I'm sure there will be plenty of videos.
