i will start by introducing myself to those who dont know me my names rich aka lil dick.
i have had a few fords since i was 16 a couple of turbos in different form until i had my lock up broken into a few years back and had my pride and joy stolen. well they manage to strip her. being that gutted i walked away from fast cars for a few years.

well since then i have broken my last ford my rs2000 cabriolet and driving my 1.2 corsa sxi but i need something pimp and being on a budget i bought this(see pic below) as my xmas present last christmas being a single weekend dad my boy will be told one day i love him for it lol. so i will start wiv the pics or try to from my photobucket account



i have sinced learned that this bumper front and rear are very rare as was a optional upgrade at a mega ost from new from the factoryc

and one of the interior sports leather(yes in need of a treatment and bolster wear sorting


it stayed like this for months while i collected parts wiv me work the shifts i do and mainly seeing my son on my day off

to this finally done in one day note the facelift steering wheel to be fitted in the bottom left corner


after more research i didnt like having the wrong rear bumper so i have spent months im talk its taken me till now to get this bumper and i have trawled the net hours each week looking for it so i changed that to what it came wiv from the factory


also ordered my rear lip spoiler and apex lowering springs all waiting for them to be delivered so it sits nicely on my 19" wheels




anyway thats where im upto until i can afford to get it painted i hope the pics work and you all like it so far

looking good mate, how much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking? im after something similar as a family wagon, where did you find it?

 

i bought online through a traders forum i buy i few motors and nomally break them for parts but this was delivered and i thought thats just the spec i want minus the auto box but i paid all in so far 1200 inclusing the wheels and the the parts to repair

i missed out on a sports ka because my internet crashs loads and the sold for 750 cat d easy repair could brak that for more

 

thats very cheap, i might look into it myslef!

i do love carbon fibre. if i could afford to i would have it as my first addication

Whats that thing on the tail pipe it looks like a turbo actuator?

 

it has a butterfly that opens up when the revs get over 3k its a bmw thing and a way to keep the gases in at low revs or something like that

 

whats the plans?

 

well a tiny update had parts arrive from ebay my lowering springs and alpine unit and from japan my carbon spoiler

so first things first had to fill it up wiv some go-go juice to get it out the garage

then fitted this



then started to fit the rear springs and new discs and pads and brake sensor to find the rear handbrake shoes had desintgrated fitted it all up to find the hand brake cable not to be connected on one side so striped and re attched and now sitting sweet i will let the pics do the talking ( springs still need to settle)

long time since my last update. but i have since moved to my new unit and im busy working my job and doing private work and having to many toys lol but i have treated the bmw to some summer wheels

after seeing this for sale i had to go searching for some rims which where a right headache and would have cost me nearly Ł2500 new from the dealers but i did get some from egay eventually i will let the pics do the talking


this was the insperation behind the purchase and these are the ones i bought for Ł265 what a billy bargain


just need to order another 4 tyres and borrow a arch rolling tool cause there are a pimping 9.5j on the front and a 10.5j on the rears wiv mega wrong offsets

 

Seen them rims on a few 7 series ,i like them

 

standard 6 series rim but quite hard to get hold of second hand but im just loving the way they look. and they would look lush on any of the bmw if i was honest just need to get the cr to the painter now so i can gt the CARBON spoiler on the boot.
