Default 2.0 Blacktop questions

My donor engine is from a 2000 plate mondeo (MK2).

And I have a few questions...
-----
Firstly.. What or where is pipe No. 1 suppose to go... can I blank it off?

Im fairly confident that No.2 is Fuel vacuum and No3. is to the brake servo.

-----

Second... What goes in this hole?

-----
Third... Is this mount used on a focus? Is it just an engine mount?

-----
Forth... Can anyone tell if this selector is for a 2.0 MTX75 gearbox... from what i can see it doesnt have a lift up reverse? I was told it came out of a 2.0 (and i even watched them take it out...)

Thank you very very very very much for any replies. Your patients and time are much appreciated.
Many thanks

Tom

pipe one is a vacuum pipe not the crank case breather for the block. i've got a 2l mk1 focus with black top engine and the bit circled in red in the second pic looks like the breather for the crank case though it does look a little different to mine but the right size.

if the weathers good tomorrow i'll be under my car so will check.

Fair play... just a quick question... ive got my crank case breather pipe (the one in the 2nd pic that has tape round it saying "requires clip") thats going to its own little tap from the inlet... which leaves the circled hole a mystery...

I assume there are differences between a mondeo inlet mani and a focus inlet mani....

Worst comes to worst ill block it off...

right just had a look at my focus.

sorry my bad, the whole in your second pic is definately for the brake servo.

1, goes up and round to the charcoal canister (i'm prob totally wrong with that so heres a pic). its the small pipe at the top with the rubber sleeve.

your 2 is different to mine. i have a bit of platic sticking out of my manifold the right size to accept that size of pipe but the end hasnt been chopped off so its blanked off from factory. however i do have a bigger ipe with a clip directly above that pipe and slightly higher than the other two. heres a pic

an that goes to the same thing number 1 does but its a bit lower down, see my first pic (not the thing with green on it in the back ground, its the weird clippy thing)

3 for me disappears by the alternator and comes up between the alternator and block to the fuel pressure regulator.

hope that help, the only difference between my 2l focus and that mondeo inlet is no. 2. 8)

i think the charcoal canister is sumthin to do with petrol fumes? And that brackety thingy on the back of the block is the driveshaft bearing carrier bracket. The driveshafts are unequal length, so like the shaft comes out the diff, through that bearing (thats missing) and then down to the CV joint.

People usually make their own bracket there and stick on the bearing carrier from whatever car the engine is going into. I'm putting my 2.0 blacktop in a mk4 fez n it took fukkin ages to work that out lol. I found it a huge help getting a workshop manual.

The mk4 fez bracket doesn't fit so am in the process of making one from a lump of sheet steel and drilling the crap out of it to get it to fit.
