Wing, Scuttle, A pillar gap rubbers
Dose anyone know where I can get these? as my painter has lost the ones for my car, dead kind of him!

wing welts i think they are called
quite hard to get i think couldnt get new ones for mine so got some from a specialist rs breaker

Ahh wicked I know what they are call, its better than saying rubber things for that gap. Yeah a friend told me they would be hard to find.

not sure i even know what these r, and im sure mine doesnt have them lol
unless u mean the weather strips up the a-pillar doorshut? if its them, then yes they are very hard to get, i broke mine, n need to source some asap!

these are rs breakers in rugely, staffs. they'll have a few cars in, and should be able to help you if you have no luck .

ive considered filling the gap on mine with some form of silicone, i dont like the idea of water flooding down the inside of my wings once restored.

Ahhh I see what you mean, use it to fill the gap, top idea, I'll see if I got a scraps of old vacuum pipe.

That's what I'm going to try. Get a short length of vacuum hose - put some superglue down the middle and then squash it in a vice until the glue dries.
This might be the worst idea ever - but it's worth a go.

I was thinking push the vacuum hose in the gap without super glue in the the it will take to the shape of the gap.

get a bit of old door seal cut off the bit that seals against the door not the bit that pushes over the lip and use that, that is what i have in mine it works at keeping the water out and looks just like the original stuff when fitted
