Post stage 3 advice please?

right guys i,ve got sum spare cash and, want know the best way/place to take my stage 1 2wd saph for a stage 3 conversion, think its between NMS motorsport, or motorsport developments?? the engine is really healthy and has been reliable for the 2 years i have had the car, been serviced at moorland classic cars near leek.
its on a standard T3, but has a 4x4 intercooler, standard airbox.
i know its a common topic, but just want get it right.

You will need another chip, 3 BAR MAP sensor, and Siemens 55LB injectors, or you could go for Bosch 803's (Dark Green injectors) but there not avaliable new anymore and an uprated breather kit.

You could keep the T3 or change to a T34.

As to who you go to there both reputable companys so choice is yours.

The Spec you have there is the Spec i have now more or less AND i'd say give Karl @ NMS a call and go and have their Gunship live map done, trust me, it'll blow you away..

depends on what power you want, & how much you've got to spend?

proper stage 3 is:
t34 turbo
rs500 style intercooler
siemens blacks 55lbs or greens
3 map bar sensor
-31 actuator
decent breather
chip

considering your in stoke on trent, you've got one of the best around on your doorstep in tony @ turbosystems

if not then msd & NMS are brilliant, you wont go wrong with any 3 of them.

If you are keeping the t3 then gunship is the only one to get

The 4wd i/cooler may struggle a bit on hot days, I'd seriously consider fitting a RS500 type.

If you haven't already, seriuosly consider, or put some money aside for a Clutch, because the torque you'll be getting when you do upgrade will KILL a standard one @ some point...Head Gasket too.........

I think it's luck of the draw tbh, first time ever I've had a friction plate rattle so bad, the springs "slots" are very worn it rattles when you shake it, so X by 6000rpm!!, serious noise it was so embarrasing, rattled as son as you went over around 3000rpm.

Live map will cost between Ł400-500

What mods do you have on your car now buddy?

As for power, around 310-320bhp and can be upto 340-350ft/lb like mine...

My spec is, TT Stage 2 T3 with 360 Bearing, Bailey Breather, 3bar -31 Actuator- 803 Injects, Group A HG and AP Paddle Clutch and 4x4 cooler

At the moment i just have stage one chip with t3 but do have some dark green injectors and pro alloy cooler and 3 bar map sensor to go on

Any ideas what power i would get from a live map with these mods?

Cheers,Rick

As said, T3 can probably push 320-330bhp max, as for torque mapped correctly, i'd say realisticly 350ish, mine made 354ft/lb but i see Ash has just made 390ft/lb on his T3....

Mine is running stage 3 with a T3 and i have been having big clutch problems

Put a new genuine ford in, no good

Tried another and skimmed flywheel, no good

Then tried an ap 6 paddle centre with a new standard cover, felt better but still slipped

I didnt want to go for the ap cover as i wanted to stay away from the heavy pedal, but was forced to in the end using the paddle centre and its fine

Went to burtons and it was Ł240 odd just for the cover, think you can get the paddle kit for about Ł370 ish, after my troubles thats all i would go for?

if your running a standard t3 just have the greens 3 bar and a chip fitted and set up no need for live mapping with your spec
