need some help for some reason i carnt work this ratio out

i have some resin that has a mix ratio of 5:2

what i need is 50ml of the 5 but what ml of the 2 is it

or whats the mix ratio of 50ml at 5:2

any help please as i need to carck on with some stuff im doing but proper stuck

i did think that but then thought it would be something else

Think of the 5:2 as being 5 parts to 2 parts.

If 1 part is 10ml, then 5 parts will be 50ml, and 2 parts will be 20ml.

PS What are you doing/making anyway?

 

im having some door cards flocked and ive had to strip the vinyl off and to get a good bond i need to coat the cards in epoxy resin to the glue will stick better
