hi im looking at a 1990 escort xr3i what are they like to own and how much do they go for what problems are with them cheers

 

hi mate just expect the normal rust spots just like on any mk4 escort, i would go for the mfi instead of the efi seems to be a stronger engine in genral they normal go from a couple of hundred to around 1500 depending on condition,

 

Have 2 EFi cabrio's,would deffo say to go for the mfi first anyway as the efi is very jerky at low revs/speed.Ye get used tae it though !

 

ohh i was going to look at a black one on ebay he wants 2500 with 61k all history some rust repair but i seem to think its harrods price for a xr3i but im just fishing around looking for a nice daily driver while i sort my saph out coz the winter is coming so better start looking now

2500quid is the money i'd expect to pay for a MINTER

think the bloke doesnt realise what theyre worth by the sounds of it, go look elsewhere and buy a similar car for 800quid

 

fookin hell £2500 should buy you a concourse xr3i! i would expect to pay around 500to800 for one needing very little work mate
