hiya mate, the glow plug light flashes on and off and it causes the van to rev when changing gear?

wot engine has it got glow plug light flasing probely wants a set of glowplugs in it

its a 1.9dti would that cause it to over rev? it only flashes aswell when it over revs!

R u sure its the glowplug light & not the engine light it sounds like the swirlflaps on the inlet maifold have fallen apart

im not 100% its an orange light with a square box with a zig zag in it with a coil under it?
Are the swirlflaps a costly thing?

dont no wot the cost will be in manchester but we charge about a grand but thats on saab not vauhxall but they use the same wank fiat engines the parts are aboute £600 then uv got about 5 hours labor
