Question Sierra 2.9 4x4 intermitant cutting out and back in again.

Hi everyone, I have a 2.9 4x4 sierra which is beginning to get on my nerves, the car seems to cut out whilst driving along almost like it is running low on fuel and then kicks back in.
My first thoughts were that the fuel filter may need changing so I did this but to no avail, I had a good nosey around the bay and found a very poor immobiliser connection which I have sorted.
Has anyone come accross this kind of issue before, I did have a similar problem on my escort which turned out to be the fuel pump relay but I don't think that it is this on the sierra.
Any ideas would be great.

Cheers everyone

I did try the Air flow units but no help at all, it seems to be o.k. again at the mo so fingers crossed it will be o.k.
