rs turbo clocks

im after a set of standard black dials but mine has the fuel gauge on the left and temp on the right.But all the ones on ebay are the other way round is there a reason for this and can they be used in my car?

My m8 had a set with fuel gauge on the left in his 89 f s2 but changed to ones with fuel gauge on the right and they work fine

I have 89 and feul gauge left when I tried to fit fuel gauge left the plugs on the loom and sockets on the rear are different.
