can somebodt help please. i was comin home from a mates tonite. came around a roundabout but the car into 3rd and it died. it was like id stalled it. pulled over and tried to start it but nothing. wouldnt even tick over. got a tow home then tried to bump it but having none of it. any ideas please. also all electrics work so not the battery. cheers

 

Check the fuel cut off switch mate,sounds that way to me,could have easily activated if something heavy knocked into it on the roundabout,but it's not unheard of to activate from nothing.if it's gone off,you'll be able to push it back down and the car should then be fine.otherwise it could be pretty much anything really,see if you can hear the fuel pump kick in when you put the ignition to position 2,should sound like a deep buzz for about two seconds.

 

come to think of it i cant remember hearing the pump. cheers for that.

 

Anytime,I've got one myself and their pretty bombproof,especially starting wise so can't think it's anything serious at all.
