when do you user copper washers and Dowty washers

im putting a an10 fitting on the end of my fuel pump should i use a dowty or copper?

what do you use each one for what purpose?

I would imagine if its under high pressure you would go for copper and a non pressurized dowty

dowty all the way. it is a copper waser with an extra bit of rubber attatched. win win

Dowtys are yellow zinc with rubber, best with the copper washers.

The fittings that screw into my remote oil filter housing are fitted with dowty washers.

Dowtys are normally aluminum with rubber insert.

the dowtys we have at work are copper with a rubber insert u can get different types i allways use a dowtys over normal copper ones never done me any harm
