Default Puma Stereo - Is it normal size?

Does a normal size stereo fit in a puma?

Or does the Puma have some weird headunit arrangement like most modern fords do now?

My G/F wants a puma, but only if she can fit her MP3 sony CD-player into it!

cheers,
steve

These have Fiesta dashes dont they?

If so I think they are double din size?

You'll be able to get an adaptor plate to fit a single DIN size unit.

Yeah, they are Fiesta based. If they have double DIN size slot, thats cool. Anyone else know for sure?

BTW - My girlfriend had a hire car the other week, a 2004 model Fiesta and they have some weird stereo arrangement going on there. Three seperate holes for the stereo, each about 1.5 cm wide. With the dash/centre console inbetween each part of the stereo. Fuck knows how you upgrade the stereo in one of those. Totally shit looking car BTW. But its a comfortable ride.

I've just fitted a new head unit . You can easily pick up a new fascia anywhere i got mine from halfords.

I think it's just shy of a double DIN size your best bet is to phone an audio specialist they will be able to tell you.

Yeah, I have fitted it all now. thanks for the replies. Oh, she bought the Puma BTW.

Got an adaptor/facia plate from ebay and the Ford>ISO wiring harness too so it all plugs together easy.
