I'd love to go - have watched the ITV highlights over the past few years, and it looks awesome. If you're into motorsport I'd say you'd really enjoy it.

PS - nice looking Saph in the sig.

I have been twice and I still dont think I have seen everything. We normally go for the whole 3 days. We stay at the university near by which is Ł10 per night B&B but have to book in advance.

Awesome weekend

I've been going for the last few years and it's one of the best days out of the year. As said above there is far too mucto see in a day though. I'm hoping to go on Sunday but I'm on crutches with a broken ankle so I won't get to see as much as normal

been loads of times, you really need to go for the wholre three days if you want to get to see everthing. its a long hike up to the top of the hill but you can take in the action at several places on the way up.
Hope you enjoy the traffic jams.

I'm also going for the first time. Can anyone tell me what time things typically get started? I know the gates open at 7:00am but I am trying to get an idea for what time I need to get there so that I don't sit around in a queue for hours waiting to get on site! Any advice appreciated

Thanks,
Shane

Paolo

Find your local Red Cross (not the charity shop, the real Red Cross) and they can hire you a wheelchair - it makes such a difference to your mobility if you have someone to help push. On crutches you will be knackered!

A mate's wife has a wheel chair because she suffers with arthritis so I might be able borrow that because she doesn't always need it and luckily she is getting better these days If not I will try and hire one from them

At the moment I really can't walk very far on crutches because it hurts my hands and it's tiring.
