It's not the same car. Andy130 ended up with my old smokestone shell K197EEV. Looks the same as when I had mines though. Hence my post above lol.

yeah thats who had it, its getting reshelled so should be back out soon

 

The shells getting re-shelled? lol. The car was stripped when I sold it. It was just a shell with bumpers and glass.

it is gone john we take all the running gear of it scrap the shell everything that came of is going on new car

 

was almost finished, but setting out in rain didn't helpthe rear legs lol, we striped it an scrapped the shell, everything that came of it is going on new shell, most of bits were sold as we hadn't plan to get another shell until 2months ago

 

So not really re-shelling it then lol

 

Sorry about that, was it you that had bara box an mountune engine in it? Or did you have it 2wd?

 

It never had a bara box in it. It had a standard 4x4 box then a rebuilt T5 when converted to 2wd.

I had the engine in it and 2wd.

 

It was good an clean when you had it. When we got it the paint work was badly done, loom cut etc, did it ever have heated seats?

 

Yeah it was a nice car when I had it, shame it's gone way down hill! The paintwork was mint when I had it, loom was still in it but not cut, that's wierd! Yeah it had heated seats in it when I had it, VERY rare I've never seen another with heated seats. I sold it as a shell with loom, bumpers, glass, lights and glass. Everything else was sold off by me. I broke the car. Col had it advertised as a complete car breaking on ebat but it wasn't. He had my shell as I sold it and some bits he had bought for it but never fitted.

yeah col took the seats out an put normal ones in, thats more or less how we got it, shame it went down hill as you say, was a great looking car when you had it

 

it was the car Huw was after, but i bought it off a local fella, the log book wasnt with the car as the guy who owned it before was a lazy sod!

i have had a resprayed, i have spent a small fortune on the car since i have had the car it now has a pro alloy rad, intercoller, turbo cooler, swirl pot, samcos, forge strut brace, escort cosworth turbo heat shield, t34/55, greys, uprated fuel pump, the usual stage 3 goodies

sits on gaz coilovers with 18 x 8 comp mo's, 225/35/18's parada spec 2 tyres

a little work to do with some uprated brakes

i changed the door cards as they were a little shrunk in places, full set of ford racing gauges and a secs monitor

oh fibreglass 500 lip spoiler

its pretty much text book stuff, but its looking how i wanted it too

not much else i wanna do to it really

 

that one you had was an inspriration in all honesty, it just looked right, with very few mods it really made the car stand out, i'll be keeping mine as a 4x4 though

was a shame the one you had got broken but he had his reasons

it had morrettes when i bought it but were traded on and new standard headlights with protectors fitted, it did have the 17 inch diamond cuts on but our notoriously bad roads took one of em!

so i swapped to 17 inch new mo's and then the 18's came along so i traded them, i swap a lot of bits these days as i got fed with hoarding parts lol

I had money in pocket, insured it and booked my train ticket. Guy rang me at that point to tell me paperwork was missing and backed out.

i have owned these too















always had 16i's loved em, a couple of s1 turbos and the mk6 which started off as standard

first cossie and have to admit was never into them before, but the lad lived local and i knew him, went for a drive out of interest and the rest is history

Yes mate. I brought it off of my brother in law....
I really injoyed owning it...

 

I owned it for 3 year and sold it with folders of paper work. I miss that car sooo much.
