not really a fan or rap etc but think he is a pretty talented bloke, bangs out some good tunes.

Prefer his earlier stuff, all his new stuff is ok but it's to "pop" if you know what I mean.

his earlier albums were grime - some pretty dope beats but now hes obv lissening to whatever his music label tells him to do..his new stuff is really commerical - purely because it targets a wider audience which means he will sell more albums because his tunes are catchy more people like them = pop!

Been into rascal from the very early days, seen him live 3 times his first gig years ago didnt even sell out just as his first album was realesed, but tbh glad he has done soo well and always thought he would as he had the talent live etc. but now ive fell away from him as hes went a bit too mainstream for me. churning out some shit tunes recently that sound pretty much the same. a far cry from his fix up look sharp days

before he was signed he was raw talent, now the record company have turnt him into another product of the industry banging out shit pop music

they even made him have his teeth done and smartend him up so he was more comercial

 

I don't know, maybe it was his decision. They were proper bad indeed.

However, it kind of made him stand out of the crowd and was a refreshing change to all the "handsome" twats in music industry...

I like him, as said prefer his earlier stuff, loved the album boy in the corner, which he won the mercury music prize for, IMO proper british talent
