Aye aberdeen is about 3.5/4hours away. A friend who works up there is moving to Dubai next week and this is their leaving do, so its not too random!

Glasgow is the closest for a decent night out yeah, bout 20mins up the road. Ł30 taxi, which between 4/5/6 of us is nothing so Glasgow is the norm on a sat night!

 

never been to scotland, let alone a night out. Will make it up there one day, probably get a shoeing though with my accent!!

i take it Kilmarnock is best avoided for a decent night out then?

Kilmarnock is OK... but i certainly wouldnt make a point of stopping for a night out if you're ever up here, you have a choice of 2 clubs! Few decent pubs i guess. Its ok every now and then but you see the same people and drink the same drinks every week, nothing exciting. Just a typical small town i guess.

 

A night at the Casino is on the cards for me and Stu, then maybe hit the town untill the early hours.

Yeah i know what you mean, plus if your out every weekend you'll bound to see the same old faces. Me and my mates are always jumping on the train down to Bristol, Bath, Reading etc. Always is a better night when you're not in your own town
