Pretty basic I know but does anyone have data on rebuilding rear brake calipers on a saphire cosworth 1988 2wd, I realise its the same as most standard versions but this is my first venture into Fords and I dont want to bugger it up ?

 

tbh, with the cost of the rebuild stuff, and any risk of breakages, might as well just get recon, £35 a piece when I last got some 2wd rear ones, the main problem is the spindle that goes through the body for the e brake lever siezes in the body.

Thanks Tabetha, everything inside the body looks clean and rust free, however all the workings are retained by internal cerclips and I don't want to take apart until I know whats in there. I have already got the overhaul kits and it seem a shame to waste them. Still if no details are available I will just blunder in as nothing ventured nothing gained and I still have the back up of getting them reconditioned. Jim.
