Default l6 loom on p8 ecu

I know this has been up before, just want to be sure

Ive got my hands on a p8 ecu, can i use my l6 loom with it? I know i need to change the wires to the TPS. Is there anything else i need to modify? It says something about the ISCV on bigturbo.co.uk being differently wired, do i need to change something there aswell?

What you are missing is the connections for the Knock sensor and the Oxygen sensor.
ISCV gets its 12 volt feed from a different relay, I wouldn't change that.
Only necessary when you want the self-cleaning function for the ISCV to work.

I would connect pin 9 to pin 30. Can't remember what's is for, but that connection is also present in the P8 wiring loom.

from bigturbo "The only wiring difference between the L8 and the P8 is that the P8 loom has pin 9 (which is an aux input) connected to +5v via pin 30."

do i even have a cable connected to pin 9 since it doesnt do anything on my l6?

It doesn't do much on the P8 either.
Some signal reserved for the future with a P8 and set to a high level for now.
And no, you don't have that wire in your loom to pin 9.
But you also have no wires for the knock and oxygen sensor.
