Will a KENT CW2 cam need cutouts/pockets??

Anyone know this for sure??

Have writen KENT... still waiting for respond

If your engine has std compression etc then no, no pockets needed, but with higher cr pistons maybe, depending on clearance.

std compression and pistons... and I am just a big fool, as my cam is a CW2

sorry... dont know where I got the CW1 from.

Do any of you guys have any experience with the CW2 cam or maybe the Newman COST 264/370, both on std compr. without valve pockets ??

Also will depend on how far your head has been skimmed m8.
