ive just replaced the engine on my focus im getting a spark but im not getting any fuel through? any ideas anyone as im stumped. something i could have left un plugged? immobiliser? i have no idea. any ideas or anything gratefully recieved

 

there is a fuel cut off on the driver or passenger side floor well behind a cover trim

push the red button it should fix it

well the only other thing i could think of would be

crank pic up sensor
cam pic up sensor


can yo uhear the pump priming when you first turn the key ????

 

could be pump not getting proper connection, check wires on pump, and as ^^^^^^^ when you turn the key make sure you hear the pump priming. start from there and follow it to the engine

 

Do you not need the keys and the ecu for the new engine you have just fitted?I could be wrong though.

 

Does the fuel pump prime when ignition is switched on? If not this would indicate the CPS is not functioning, re check you have reconnected all connections as well.

You do not need to have keys if you change the engine, you would however need the corresponding keys (Transponder) if you swapped ECU.
