Any heating experts in the house?
Quick question, my vailiant ecotec pro bolier this morning has come up with low pressure F22 warning. It only has 0.5 bar in the system. I have not changed anything in the house etc. Tried resetting the bolier but the pressure does not increase. Any idea if i can do anything to fix it?
Question was how do i refill it?
Though i have just worked it out while typing this! Presume it must have been low for ages as i had to change a tap over and turned water off etc. I think drained some or a lot of air out of my stupied towel rail. A good old messing around with some levers on the boiler and it has now worked! I like nice and easy fixes lol.
Now i can go and have a shower......

I just done as Steve said above. TBH i have never checked it! Will keep eye on it now over next few weeks. I have one of those magnaclean things too. It looks like it could with cleaning. Anyone know if this is an easy job, or should it be best left to the experts?

Do it properly, and try to find the leak and get the leak repaired! If you keep repressurising the boiler/system, you will eventully (SP) killing the boiler and filling the system with lots of carbon sludge!!
I have told the landlord that I have to keep topping the pressure up, he says, it's only water, tight arse that he is, took him 8 months to replace a tap, that's what you get for renting off a mate I suppose!!
If it's gets damaged it's down to him, he tells me the concrete floor would need digging up to find the leak ?

magnaclean's have had a recall with there rubber oring seals on the lids leaking
There easy to clean turn both the valves off eather side open the air bleed up to make sure they are def off use the big magnaclean spanner to remove the lid
If the oring inside the top is RED/ORANGE then it needs changing for a black one

Cheers mate! I will have a look. If i had said O ring above will i be able to refit until replacment comes? As i cant be without boiler working. Might have a go at cleaning it in the week.
yehr u can refit it no real prob just use some silicone greese on the old oring and some ptfe round the thread on the canister
The only thing wrong with the old oring is when it heats up then cools down it can sometimes create a leak which only show up when the system is cold
if u have no luck finding new orings i have some on my van that i could bung your way
