Default 9sec fwd car at pod today.

Today CPL racing with their Honda civic ran 9.91 @ 149mph, officially the first 9 sec pass made by an FWD car in the UK

They used a dead stock engine at the Redline day, bolt on mods only and managed a 10.9 !

Part of the reason is that the engine runs 'backwards' in terms of rotation meaning that when you launch it, it actually leans over the front wheels instead of backwards towards the bulkhead like most other cars. This gives the effect of putting more weight over the front wheels and reduces wheelspin.
