Default Jetting the boost (amal) valve

Anybody know how much you need to open each port on the amal valve to get it to hold 32psi as my greddy boost controler has stopped working so the amal valve will have to do for now

anybody got an idiots guide please

I think you restict it Matt not open them up ?????

restricting the compressor port increasing the r port raises boost
you have to adjust the ratio between these to ports to obtain a reasonable boost curve
This also depends on your ecu and boost map
the bigger your r port the bigger the over shoot

cheers for that will have a play about tonight, question though is what do you mean by over shoot?
and what would be a good start size to open the r port up and taking the comp port down to
cheers

When I was on the dreaded L6 I just took them out, seemed fine.
