My wifey has taken to listening to classic fm at night to help her sleep of late, and the dude that presents the late show has the easiest job in the world - bar none.

He plays a track. Reads the label, and the plays another track. That's it. No bollox, no news or weather, no description.

1. Press play
2. When noise stops - read track name
3. Then read track author.
4. Goto 1

Friend of mine, works a 12hour shift, 1 day off, works a 12 hour shift at night,
2 days off.
At the job he has to id and tag a ship when it enters/exits the harbour (5min job)
And has about 6-10 ships a shift. (payroll is exeptionally good)
I'm seriously thinking of getting myself employed there aswell for the night shifts. Since i don't sleep that much anyway. And keep my dayjob as it is

 

Friend of mine works at the visiting aircraft section at Raf Lyneham, he sits about all day and if a visiting aircraft comes in, he nips out in a transit and marshalls it into where it is supposed to stop, then goes sits back down again. They may get 2-3 aircraft in in a day. They've even got beds in there so when he's on nights he can sleep
