Just got this sent to me by a mate, Asda must have made a boo boo. Advertising 70cl bottles of Skyy vodka for 97p online. Like £16 a bottle anywhere else.

Just ordered 24 bottles which is the maximum you can order! Lol.

Not gonna need to buy any vod for a while!

Bought them at the price advertised, like in a shop if something is marked up wrong, 90% of the time you get it at that price 'cause its there fault. Customer is always right an all that crap.

Have noticed on a few deal sites that people are getting messages from Asda cancelling the item. Also be careful as there is a disclaimer on the site "Please note that these prices are for guidance only. You will be charged the in-store price of all available items on the day they are delivered."

So if they do deliver check the receipt before you accept the goods. I would be looking at an £800 bill if i were to pay full price. They only take payment once you take delivery.

 

It is nice stuff, had it at the Fashion hotel in Amsterdam in their "Skyy Bar"

They do need to honour the sale once money has exchanged hands as that is when the contract starts, but if its marked at a wrong price then they can refuse it if they are still yet to take the money!

 

They didn't honour it and all the vodka orders were cancelled, surprise surprise....

 

when i tried to order some they had pulled it not suprised they never honoured it though
