Default ford badge, 2wd 88

hi guys, putting my saff back to std looking,

ambers are in, although not genuine ford, so may have to do something about that

new std size plate going on some day soon

now, the worst bit, some plonker has stuck a black ford badge on the back

i want the proper one

is it the light blue one i need ?

seen them on ebay but £20+ is a bit hefty, no one do anything else ?

i saw a thread where people re paint them ? if i got a good one and painted it light blue would it look right, being right tight here

just need some ideas folks

any pics would be cool !

Jimbo best thing to do is hunt around a scrappy until you find some, be careful in removing as the coloured part comes off on the adhesive then they are fucked but if you get it off ok you can clean the front up with light polish.

I put dark blue newer style on mine just to be different

Yes light blue is correct, they are also a fraction smaller than the dark blue boot ones, think it was 6-8mm or so when I measured them, you can get a perfect repainted badge if you take your time.
