when i paint my engine il rub it down with a wire brush n make sure its all clean
but whats the best paint to use?? cos i dont want it sarting to flake
ive heard hammerite is good?? or shall i use heat proof paint
also can i paint my starter motor n alternator n bits like that with the same paint or does it have to be special paint??

i used hammerite smooth on my s1 engine with no problems.

You Can get high temp engine enamel paint. Halfords do it in few diff colours its about 7pound for a tin.
