what chip for spec??

i have a 1990 s2 rs,im fitting a front mount,panel filter and dash 31 actuator but im not sure whats the best cam and chip to go for or what power to expect.anybody got feedback on whats good?ta,lee

If your still MFI the chip you choose will have little or no bearing on how your car makes power, 99% of them just remove the boost cut and only a couple actually have a different timing map (Ahmed for example).
Standard cam profile is the best all rounder, unless you are wanting big bhp say 250+.
With your spec on a healthy engine you will see between 175bhp-190bhp @ Fly, more than that requires a better turbo.

yes,it will be mfi,unsure of turbo spec as theres a turbo technics badge on the turbo,may just be a standard rebuilt 1.tbh i havent even driven the car,it may be chipped already,ill open the ecu later and have a look,didnt even think before now.my old rst made 194 atw with an uprated turbo and the same spec as what i have now,but that was a bayjoo chip.when i took it to the rr before the fuel ecu was holding it back,he advised me top get the ecu which matched the chip fitted which i did,it felt more powerful and less hesitant after i fitted it?i always thought both ecus got modified.
