Default compbrake adj tca's worn out in months!

hi,surely this is not normal, worn out with 9 month easily, only road use!
seemingly no warrenty with them, they're not interested,
what a rip off, just using standard tca's now as these adjustable ones have been nothing but hassle since day one, rant over, lol

Apparently, you need to get the more expensive genuine ford ones off them.

What is worn out?

I replaced the rose joints on the tca's I have with some form mcgill motorsport. One problem with using the rosejoints on the road is there not water tight. You need to fit the rubber over boots to keep the road crap out of the joint.

ball joints knackered and rose joints not to healthy, and they have just had normal road use, wouldnt of said they had had a hard life either,at time i bought them didnt realise they made them with the better ball joint,so really they know theyre going to wear out quick! and their big ball jointed ones are dearer but i got the big ball jointed type about the same rice as the wee ones,

The word shit and compbrake are cropping up in the same sentence more and more lately.
You can get sealed rose joints, few more pennies that's all, as for the outer joint why did they simply not use another(sealed) rose joint, easy to do making a stand off pin, can still get arb attached as well.
If you want a PROPER set of adjusty TCA's pm me, and I'll pass you some details of a whizz maker.

ye,im not convinced about there stuff,
thats what i fancied, rose jointed both ends, didnt know if it was possible, but would there not be more movement on a ball joint than a rose joint?
will pm you soon, once i work out what im doing with my handling quest, lol

Movement wise the rose joint, OR a decent ball joint will have plenty enough, with a rose joint you use a stand off pin.

Compbrake are I believe who TAS were, if thats true then the quality of their products would be explained !

I've seen rack mounts from them that didn't even clamp the rack tight ! I've just had a set of top mounts through from another supplier who decided not to tell me they were Compbrake items, had I of known I'd of got them elsewhere.
