Default what clutch do i get ???

hi im coming to that stage where my clutch is slipping and i just wondering what clutch do i need to get because i havent got a clue please help me out
i have a 2 liter dohc engine but with a type 9 gearbox bolted to it what clutch do i need 2 get?

Depends what power you are pushing, std clutch may be fine, certainly the std ford cossie 2wd is well up to 300bhp for example.

sorry i have a 8 valve engine dohc from a sierra with a 2 liter pinto gearbox

Would think as long as the clutch plate has as many spines as the input shaft does it will be ok, unless it was changed when you swapped box?

Your better off getting the info off some one whose done it before, as its not just cover bolt pcd, input shaft splines etc....you've also got the throw of the clutch arm which may be different? What clutch is in it now, any part number off that to work with?

i dont know the part number but tomorrow im taking it out and going to burton and match it up cheers anyway fella

If you've not done any thing to the car and you use it as a daily driver then either standard or a fast road organic....dont go paddle clutch on a 8v twin cam mate, it just aint worth the shite driving experience
