Default Sierra on 20s?

No doubt itd look fookin stupid (i think 18s look too big on them) but i was just looking thru some old magazines and there was a wheel guide in an old Fast Ford (August 2000), a quote from the writeup...

Biggest weve ever seen on a road legal sierra so far is a monstrous 20in wheel

What cars that then? Seen 19s a couple of times, but never 20s.

Post a pic, i need a laugh

Wide as fuck looks quality, but too big looks daft to me.

17s on a Sierra (but ideally 9/10 inch wide)
18s on an EscCos (width as above)

Bigger WOULD look better, if it was physicly possible to get the car back down to a normal ground clearance (as its not the arch gap, its the ground clearance that makes it look stupid), but that generally would need some SERIOUS slamming, which would need lots of work.

It CAN be done to look right tho, check this out...

The pics that RS Rawli has posted are of Nick from Aberdeen's car, who posts on here (Nick500).

The front one's 215/35/19

Check out the carbon bonnet

He does all kinds of carbon for the 3dr ....

yeah the saff is obviously a photoshop, looks quite tough in the second pic of it though. what wheels are they on that car anyway??

The wheel clearance on the caged up black 3dr was so bad he had to take the back bumper off

Those wheels look stunning

Must be a hard ride with those tyres though, look like rubber bands!
