Default Anyone Turbo'd an XR2?

Got a mate who has a Fiesta XR2 that he wants turbo'd.

I have an escort rst and know my way around it but running on the original mfi.

Just wondering what i will need to turbo the XR? We want to run EFI to make it as reliable as poss.

What engine mounts? What loom? etc...

Any sugestion or info would be great

Matt

if you want to run efi, then I believe you need the complete efi setup (loom/ecu/coilpack etc) off a fiesta turbo really as a starting point.

or go aftermarket management of course!

Yeh i knew i would need all that just unsure how to match the looms etc (std xr and rst one)

Aftermarket managment would be better but my mate has a budget to keep to at the mo soo just going to go std EFI setup

Cheers Chip

then you would need a custom exhaust, mod the front panel, and a tank etc from fiesta center

as said aove mate go onto xrtwo.com for info. ive got a efi turbo in mine as have a lot of others. loom wise you just need the engine wiring harness off the frst. it unplugs from the main loom. its a 7 pin plug i think, you just have to wire in a coulple relays and your fuel pump realy and away you go, just use the original xr2 wiring for everything else.
