well alot of you already know i done the escort version last year which started of the original 1/18 modified models thread





also made a model of bruce reads old rs500



but i thought it was time to make a model of porkies old 3dr to sit along side the escort

heres what ive done so far got a 3dr model stripped it and painted shell base coat silver



red paint applied to rear end



tailgate and lower boot spoiler in orange




whale tail in orange too


even managed to find some wheels that look pretty identical to the comps that were on the car

i still have craigs email so will get in touch with him and hopefully he got the decals on file and he can do me them again as they were superb before

ive got the orange bit on now just left with the grey strip

 

i got the wheels from german ebay last year! thats the best bet to find decent wheels

shell all painted now with the 3 colour scheme! im pretty dam pleased with it starting to take shape now

abit more progress on the 3dr ita all painted now fitted the front screen,scuttle panel and blacked the suspension strut tops



also blacked the window edges and rear quarter edges and door handle



bucket seats not fixed in yet but roll cage all painted silver just need to install the full tank cell in the rear

 

looking ace mate, u have got a very steady hand aint ya, them window rubbers r perfect, top job cant wait to see it complete

but i do love my reyland ones thou! bloody need to pull my finger out and finish the 3dr one.

Ive just looked throu the whole thread and i have to say that 3dr build is truely amazing!!!!

 

Surely theres only one man who i think should be buying this car, even the wheels look spot on very impressive stuff mate
